Today we visited Museum of London to see a wonderful exhibition on London Street Photography.
Street photographs are at the heart of our understanding of London as a diverse and dynamic capital. They are characterised by an element of chance – a fortunate encounter, a fleeting expression, a momentary juxtaposition, capturing an ever-changing city. The photographs date from 1900’s to present day so there is a lot to see historically as well as how photography has changed over last 100 years.
London Street Photography exhibition is on display until 4th of September 2011 (admission is free).
